From La Casa di Alice our guests reach on foot the pedestrian zone of via Mazzini, famous for its shopping promenade, and can visit Piazza delle Erbe and taste the famous Valpolicella wine in the taverns of Verona downtown. In the nearby the Natural Sciences Museum; just crossing the bridge of Ponte Navi you'll find the house of Romeo and Giulietta and Piazza Brà, with the historical Arena of Verona where every summer the Stagione Lirica (Lyric Season) is carried out. With a short walking from the lodging the Giardino Giusti, an ancient villa of which the wonderful garden designerd of italian style can be visited. Straight on you arrive to Roman Theatre and Ponte Pietra, symbol of the ancient Verona, the city made famous and loved by Shakespeare. Verona offers unexpected corners to the traveller who will try to go outside of the usual tourist tracks.
